An Unmedicated Home Family Birth Film with Midwives

I was so excited to get the call that Mom was in labor. I knew that she had planned to birth at home with her older children surrounding her and welcoming baby, so I was excited to capture all of their reactions.

A foggy morning turned into a bright and sunny day just as baby made his way into Mom’s arms. It was so sweet to watch her boys offer gentle signs of comfort in those last moments as she worked to bring baby out. Not to mention the exclaims of joy from all as he arrived.

Mom originally hired me for just birth photography, but weeks before her due date decided to upgrade her session to a birth film. I’m always excited for the opportunity to also bring in my favorite (and fellow) birth-tog to second shoot with me, Kelly Richman of Lifetime of Clicks.
