Birth Photographer | Presenting Pierce
Not often as a birth photographer do you run into problems with the air conditioning at the hospital. For this particular session, the A/C was out in the rooms on the delivery floor. I thought Dad was joking when I told him I was heading that way and he told me to bring a fan. I mean, seriously. Women in labor+Houston humidity=problem. My main concern wasn't so much the heat in the room as it was the moisture on the floor. I imagined us slipping and sliding on the floors when it cam time to deliver the baby. Could you imagine the scene that would be?!?! Luckily for all of our sakes, the air conditioning was fixed and the humidity issues were gone by the time this beautiful, full-of-blonde-hair baby boy was born. All was immediately right in the world once again once we heard his sweet cries. I am so blessed to have been able to photograph this talented Momma's birth. You see, she's a photographer as well and does amazing work with maternity and newborn sessions. Plus, she's kind of fun to hang around... just a little. :-P
If I have one wish for you, Pierce, it's that you someday realize just how much amazing and loving people you are surrounded by. Such a beautiful family of 5!
Thank you choosing me to capture and tell Pierce's Birth Story! He is definitely a keeper!
